Free-spirited sex therapist Brianna Ballantine has four days to find a fiancé so she can inherit her birth mother’s Italian villa. Commitment is not on the agenda. Writing her sex therapy book and signing legal papers are. And once all is said and done, she’ll return home to Scotland.
For finance guru Tomas Richards, relationships have been a bad investment—give him stocks and shares any day. When Tomas offers a marriage of convenience to help Brianna secure her inheritance, the sizzle between the sheets promises an affair to remember, despite family complications at every turn.
But Tom must convince Brianna to stay, and make this Italian affair a lifelong commitment.

My thoughts on "Italian Affair"Italian Affair is a funny and sweet romance that reminds me why I love about a couple that is meant to be together discover that, albeit the hard way.
We first meet our couple Brianna and Tomas (or Tom) as they are getting ready to board a flight from Australia to Italy. Brianna is on her way to Italy to claim her inheritance from her birth mother. The birth mother that's she been desperately trying to find for years only to find out that she had passed on. Tom has finally had enough of his life and is on his way to Italy to run the boat business he bought from his aunt.
It's a wonderful case of opposites attract. Brianna is scatterbrained, forgetful and unorganized. Tom is a the ultimate rule follower and makes lists. They are complete opposites and even though they rub each other the wrong way at times, that connection is there. That connection is what has Tom agreeing to fake being Brianna's fiancee so she can claim her inheritance. Through several ups and downs and family problems Tom realizes that he and Brianna are meant to be...now he just has to make her see that too.
Italian Affair won me over with the witty banter between Brianna and Tom. Brianna's inner thoughts could have come right from my head. And even through I loved Brianna, I'm probably more like Tom. I love lists and rules, but I probably would drive myself crazy if I was dating me. Annie Seaton writes a story that brings the island of Lipari to life and makes me picture long walks and pretty cafes.
