{ Summer Reading Challenge Book List }

I love a good challenge and one of my favorite ones each season is the reading challenge hosted by Megan at Semi-Charmed Kind of Life.  This will be my third time participating in Megan’s challenge I’ve been busy compiling my books and requesting ones I don’t have from the library.  You can find all the rules and categories here if you want to participate.

The Categories and My Books are…

I’ve got a lot of reading ahead of me this month and lots of time to kick back on the deck to do it.

What are your summer reading plans?

  1. I love Poughkeepsie story, I love the characters and the idea and the quirky style of the narration. It's sweet and naive while being a little bit scary and dirty at the same time, and it doesn't pull many punches. There's some pain and blood, alright, and there's some schmaltz and romance too. You get the feeling that the author believes deeply in humanity, though she's under no illusions as to its true nature. Is there a specific place for beauty and fashion books to be listed in the library according to the dewey decimal system?

  2. I'm also participating in this challenge. It's my first time...I'm excited! Seems like everyone (but me) has picked Perks as their banned book. I need to get around to reading it too! :) Good luck!
