I am glad that it's almost Spring. I am so over winter, seriously. I'm also on my last pair of gloves and the stores around here have switched over to Spring merchandise so if I lose them I'm out of luck. Spring is also a good time of the year for a renewal of habits and creating new ones. Walking feels better when you haven't been able to walk along the river for months because of the snow. Maybe running will too but I'm not that ambitious yet. Maybe that will be a future goal.
♥I like playing exercise rather than strenuous exercise.
I've had a hard time finding a consistent workout routine and this past month I bought the Wii Fit Balance Board Game package. It's so much fun. I'm not burning serious calories but I can play it with the kids or by myself and it's still fun. It also gives them a good laugh when I'm doing one of the sillier moves.

♥I'm still a snacker.
I'm working on being a better snacker. Sometimes I just like to eat a few pieces of something to ward off the hunger pains and instead of picking up M&M's or a mini-Snickers I've stated making my own little 100 calorie snack bags of treats and fruits and veggies so that it's easier make that choice. Although there are still sometimes where that mini-Snickers is needed.
♥The cold weather and all the snow days is still seriously prohibiting my ambition to do anything physical.
Wood cutting is over and we're in that transition from winter to spring which means everything is muddy. Or icy. Mud and ice aren't a real good combination for anything including keeping your shoes clean and dry, so the outside exercise may not come for another month or two.
♥I'm going to have to get another job if I want to keep buying all the "healthy" food at the grocery store.
Eating healthy in the winter is hard. All the fruits and vegetables have to be bought at the grocery store and most of the time they cost an arm and a leg or aren't the best quality. Some foods last for a few days but for the most part they still spoil a little before I can finish them. This is another reason it needs to be Spring soon.
