I like doing up the holidays big this time of year. Especially with the kiddos. We've done leaf projects, pumpkin things and foodie fun. But I also like curling up on the couch and watching movies with them too. Some of my best memories and what I have sentimental attachment to are shows and movies that I saw when I was a kid.
The ABC Family channel does a 13 Nights of Halloween and I started our own nights of viewing last year. I like making new traditions to look forward to each year. We don't follow along with the ABC movies because most of them my little munchkins would probably freak out a little at. And me too. The Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas freak me out, no joke. I've never watched a Friday the 13th, Halloween Series, Saw, or any of the other scary Halloween movies. I'm the biggest scaredy-cat around folks.
So this is what we have on tap this year. The nights are subject to change depending on schedules and such, ya know, and we have a little bit of everything.
For the big kids...
