{ the simple things }

We took a drive through the back roads this weekend.  It's something we do once in awhile and because the air conditioning in the car is a lot cooler than the air in the house.  There's no map and my husband knows his way around so I don't worry about getting lost.  If it was me alone I'd need a GPS and a map.  And my phone to call when I got lost anyway.

Husband is great at stopping along the side of the road so I can get out and take pictures of whatever catches my eye.  He does a lot of driving for work and makes a note of things that would catch my eye in his travels.

I took lots and lots of pictures this trip and narrowed it down to my top three... right now.

beautiful wildflowers

old red barn

and the snack for the backseat drivers.

What's favorite way to spend a lazy weekend?

  3. All three photos are great, but I have to admit, it was a fun surprise to see the ring pop amidst the others! So get the backseat drivers staying occupied! Beautiful!
