My Kindle Fire is like my right arm. But not all books I buy are digital. Cookbooks, children's books, and Photography manuals I still buy in paperback. Especially the children's books. Cuddling up on the couch with the Kindle wouldn't be the same as cuddling on the couch with the book in our lap. The Kindle is mine. It has all the books I love to read and the ones that I wouldn't want you to see the cover of. My favorite magazines and the ones that are hard to come by in my areas. Don't get me wrong, I love the feel of a well worn paperback; but the convenience of digital is for me right now. But that's another post in its self.
My five most recent purchases...
I am determined to get a meal plan organized for our family. It came highly reccomended and I need all the help I can get. If it works, I'll let you know.
Have you read the Fifty Shades of Grey: Book One of the Fifty Shades Trilogy? I had no idea what I was in for. It's really one LONG book cut into three books. Each leaves off at a point where you have to know what happens next. I'll keep my opinion to myself for now but if you have read these or will read; you will definitely have an opinion. They are only in ebook right now and the paperback will be available soon. Find the rest here...Fifty Shades Darker: Book Two of the Fifty Shades Trilogy and Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three of the Fifty Shades Trilogy.
I came across this when from my original purchase of One Bite at a Time: 52 Projects for Making Life Simpler. It sat in my wishlist for the longest time and I'm so sorry it did. I'm plowing through it little by little to make some of the changes in our house. The husband and children are somewhat allergic to change so it has to be done carefully.
The Perfect Play and Changing the Game because of the covers but when I was finished I bought more of her backlist too. The Play By Play series is my favorite and it has nothing to do with the covers. I swear.
